David Wolfe, co-managing partner of Skoloff & Wolfe, has again been named a New Jersey Super Lawyer. Mr. Wolfe is recognized as one of the leading real estate and property tax attorneys in the New York metropolitan area and is a fierce litigator representing commercial property owners who are seeking tax relief due to deep revenue shortfalls from COVID-19 restrictions.
In being named by Super Lawyers, Mr. Wolfe ranks among the top echelon of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement from more than 70 practice areas. The rigorous selection process for Super Lawyers includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.
For the second year in a row, Mr. Wolfe joins seven other lawyers from his firm as Super Lawyers, and two others who were selected as New Jersey Rising Stars.
Other Skoloff & Wolfe attorneys who were chosen include: Jonathan Wolfe, Mr. Wolfe’s brother and co-managing partner, who was acknowledged for the twelfth consecutive year; Gary Skoloff, one of the firm’s founders was also chosen, as were firm partners Kimber Gallo and Richard Iglar, who were both selected as Super Lawyers for the twelfth time. In addition, Patrick Collins (17th consecutive selection), Richard Singer (13th time selected), and Betsy Bresnick (7 years consecutive) were among those recognized. Chosen as Rising Stars were attorneys Allison Berecz and Thomas DeCataldo. Rising Stars are attorneys who are 40-years-old or younger or have been practicing for less than 10 years.
“I’m pleased to be chosen once again as a New Jersey Super Lawyer, but I’m especially proud of the other lawyers in our firm who have also been cited,” Wolfe said. “I think the 2021 selections reflect the deep well of talent Skoloff & Wolfe can offer our clients.”
A leading voice on property tax matters, Mr. Wolfe is a highly sought after participant for commercial real estate industry seminars and speaking engagements, and is the lead author on numerous property tax-focused articles that have appeared in state-wide and regional publications.
