Six Recognized on Super Lawyers List for Family Law

Jonathan Wolfe, co-managing partner of Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C., focuses his practice on business litigation and matrimonial disputes. He represents leaders or the spouses of leaders from the finance, real estate, professional and entertainment/sports communities in complex matrimonial matters, including a focus on business valuations, private equity/hedge funds, treatment of trust assets in divorce and the protection of non-marital assets. He was recognized in the “Super Lawyer” list for the eleventh consecutive year.

Co-Founder Gary N. Skoloff is a nationally-recognized family law practitioner and is active in the family law bar both in New Jersey and on the national level. He is a past Chair of the Family Law Section of the American Bar Association, and past President of the New Jersey Chapter of the of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. He also served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Family Advocate, a publication of the American Bar Association, Family Law Section.

Kimber Gallo was recognized in the “New Jersey Rising Star” list by Super Lawyers from 2009 through 2018. This marks the second consecutive year that she is being recognized on the Super Lawyer list by her peers. Ms. Gallo has been with Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. since 2006. She devotes her practice exclusively to the areas of family and matrimonial law. Her broad experience is zealously applied in representation of her clients, tending to each client’s unique needs while helping them navigate the entire process from start to finish.  

This is the twelfth year in a row that Richard Iglar has been recognized. In 2007, he was admitted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has continuously served on various national committees of the AAML ever since. In 2019, he was admitted as a Fellow of The International Academy of Family Lawyers. He is certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney, and has been with the firm since 1999.

Patrick T. Collins was first chosen for inclusion in the Super Lawyers list in 2005. He is one of four attorneys in New Jersey to have been qualified by the Supreme Court as both a Certified Civil trial attorney and a Certified Matrimonial Attorney. Mr. Collins has tried numerous cases in the State and Federal courts and in various arbitration settings and has argued approximately one hundred appeals to the Superior Court, Appellate Division. He has appeared before the New Jersey Supreme Court on seven occasions. He is attorney of record in 16 published decisions and has lectured on behalf of the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Education.

This year marks the seventh consecutive appearance for Betsy W. Bresnick on the esteemed list. Ms. Bresnick handles all aspects of family law, including child custody, equitable distribution and alimony, protection of non-marital assets, and the preparation and litigation concerning prenuptial agreements. She represents individuals and businesses in many different areas of law with a focus on family law, transactional matters, and civil litigation. Her skills range from amicable dispute resolution to trial, through appeal.

As a New Jersey Rising Star, Thomas J. DeCataldo Jr. has dedicated his practice exclusively to the area of family law since his graduation from law school. In his career he has been widely published and is a frequent speaker on the consequences and legal issues surrounding divorce and other family law matters. Thomas served as a law clerk to the Honorable Thomas M. McCormack J.S.C., Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, in Essex County. He is an active member of various professional and bar associations and sits on several committees and boards. 

Andrew Rhein joined Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. as an associate in September 2019. Since graduating from law school, Andrew has focused his practice on family and matrimonial law matters. In addition, he is a member of Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C.’s Litigation Department which represents companies and individuals in complex business disputes. Andrew clerked for the Honorable Marcella Matos Wilson, in the Essex Vicinage of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part. He is a certified court mediator and has conducted numerous mediations for matrimonial disputes and small claims.
