Livingston, NJ – Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C., a Livingston law firm specializing in matrimonial and family law, property tax appeals, and business and private litigation, presented a check for $6,225 along with approximately 180 pounds of non-perishable food to the Community Food Bank of New Jersey as a result of the company’s Fight to Feed Hunger campaign.

The law firm matched all employee contributions raised through a GoFundMe page it set up for this fundraiser. In addition, the firm’s offices in Livingston served as drop-off point for employees and others who filled a room set aside to handle all of the food contributions.

“Hunger during the pandemic has become even more serious. We’ve all seen news reports of the seemingly endless lines folks have had to wait in just to get some basic food items. The Community Food Bank of New Jersey is a remarkable asset in our communities and it deserves all of our support to help it in its mission to fight food insecurity and poverty,” noted Jonathan Wolfe, co-managing partner of Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C.

Every $1 donated can potentially help provide 3 meals

The Community Food Bank of New Jersey, a member of Feeding America®, has been delivering food, help, and hope across the state for 45 years. CFBNJ got their start in downtown Newark and have since grown into the largest anti-hunger and anti-poverty organization in New Jersey, with facilities in Hillside and Egg Harbor Township.

“The need for food to feed our local communities and beyond has always been relevant,” said David Wolfe, co-managing partner. “With the COVID-19 pandemic, the need has grown intensely for food donations in support of our local community and beyond. I’m really proud of how our team at Skoloff & Wolfe, our clients, and our partners, have stepped in to help in a meaningful way.”
