Jeffrey I. Wasserman, (Of Counsel)
Jeff focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes. Jeff began his career in the litigation department of an AmLaw 100 firm, and later was a litigation partner in different AmLaw 100 firms. In 2016, Jeff started his own law firm.
Jeff is a creative, problem-solving, risk-reducing counsel who is keenly focused on efficiently and cost-effectively advancing business objectives. Jeff represents clients ranging from individuals to Global 100 companies, including multinational food and beverage companies, investment banks, private equity funds and diversified real estate companies. Jeff has provided counsel, and litigated, a wide-array of business contracts, including settlement agreements, shareholder and operating agreements; non-disclosure agreements; employment agreements, including non-competition, non-solicitation and confidentiality covenants; vendor and supply agreements; notes and credit facilities; and other investment and real estate transaction documents.
Jeff also has provided counsel regarding, and/or litigated with respect to, assorted business disputes, including corporate governance disputes, such as breach of fiduciary duty claims, shareholder disputes and alter ego claims; business-related torts; post-acquisition disputes and fraud claims; manufacturing and vendor disputes; trademark and unfair competition claims; trade secret claims; bankruptcy claims, such as fraudulent transfer and preference claims; white-collar criminal matters; and disputes involving parties and subject matter located in foreign jurisdictions.
Mr. Wasserman is experienced in state and federal courts, and in arbitrations before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") and the American Arbitration Association.
