Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C., a family law, property tax appeal, and business litigation firm based in Livingston, NJ, delivered close to 100 children’s gifts, gift cards, winter coats, blankets, socks and other clothing to the Center for Family Services in East Orange. In addition, Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. also presented CFFS with a donation of $7,000, with funds generously raised by Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. employees and then matched by the firm.
The holidays can be a challenging time of year for families. No family should have to wonder how they will keep their family warm, put a nutritious meal on the table or put a smile on their child’s face on Christmas morning. Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C. initiated its GofundMe campaign this holiday season to continue their commitment to fostering change in the community focusing on children and families.
The Center for Family Services is a non-profit organization that has helped improve the lives of families across New Jersey for over 100 years. The organization’s comprehensive services range from early childhood education to safe and supportive housing.
Numerous factors contributed to the success of this philanthropic campaign. Participants spent weeks collecting toys, socks, blankets, and hand-wrapping the donations to be delivered to the Center. Together the Skoloff & Wolfe team donated close to a hundred toys, gift cards, several blankets, clothing, winter coats, and a large box of socks.

According to the Urban Institute, over one-quarter of low-income families with a full-time worker experience hardships related to food and housing in the US.
