Experience
Avani joined Skoloff & Wolfe, P.C., in early 2026. She began her legal career handling residential and commercial real estate matters, as well as collections litigation, before transitioning her focus to real property tax appeals and valuation issues.
Following graduation from Seton Hall University School of Law, Avani regularly attended court proceedings in fifteen of New Jersey’s twenty-one counties, and she has represented commercial property owners in small claims and civil litigation matters.
During law school, Avani concentrated her studies on real estate and business law, including courses in Land Use and Zoning, Construction Law, Residential Landlord-Tenant Law, Land Use Regulations, Secured Transactions, Business Associations, Start-Up Counseling, and Drafting & Dealmaking. She also interned with the in-house counsel team at WebMD, where she worked on matters involving data privacy, licensing agreements, and intellectual property.
In her final year of law school, Avani participated in the Family Law Clinic at Seton Hall University School of Law, representing individuals in final restraining order proceedings and negotiating custody agreements. She describes this experience as one of the most rewarding aspects of her legal education.
